The Central West Development Office (ODCO), aware of its leading role in regional development, initiated this study concerning the development of a strategy for the promotion and capitalization of the numerous geographic, natural and civilization specificities and economic that conceals the district of the Center West with its three governorates: Kairouan, Sidi Bouzid and Kassertine in order to promote an alternative tourism in the district making it possible to animate the other economic sectors which are complementary to it, to revitalize the economic life in the region and strengthen its positioning nationally and internationally in the various areas of economic development.
